"Absolutely loved it. Perfect getaway when the city is too noisy. Awesome location in the woods surrounded by nothing but forest. If you plan on staying outside in the hot tub, maybe get one of those bug repellant tiki torches. However I got no other complaints. Maybe a tv in the adult bedroom? Anyway, good kitchen, good bathroom, good living room, good room for adults, good room for children. If you're looking to get away, there isn't anything wrong in picking this place if you desire a forest get away within driving distance of some good local eats and markets."

The area was nice and private, very peaceful and relaxing They also provide a lot of necessities, so you don't have to stress about having to buy things at the store. They have everything you need there. If you have any issues with anything they are quick and responsive."

"Loved the fire pit and privacy. Nicole was very communicative and quickly responded to every question we had! Dog friendly-our pup loved her stay, including bed and toys! Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't working, but Nicole did everything in her power to help us problem solve. Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway!"

"First off, Nicole is a wonderful host!! She was very proactive when it came to communication and providing details about our stay. She developed a wonderful digital guide that I was able to view before our trip which helped to plan out activities and dining for our family with dietary restrictions. Nicole was also very responsive during our stay when I had a few questions. The home itself was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. It was great to have the kitchen stocked with the basics, since we cooked a lot there and didn’t need to bring every little thing. I loved that there were lots of towels and wash cloths available. The house was perfect for our family; there were lots of games, books and even coloring supplies! The local area has lots to do but we loved the lake and canoe. The water was very clear and warm. There is a lovely, newly installed patio with a clean hot tub and a nice fire pit. You don’t even have to leave the house to have a great time. 10/10."

"We had a lovely time at this charming cottage in the woods. The hot tub was lovely and we were a short walk from a nice lake with a cute sand beach. The home was decorated adorably, had a fully stocked kitchen, lots of guidebooks on the Berkshires, and toys for our dogs as well :) Nicole was super responsive and communicative, and check-in and check-out were super easy. Would definitely come back!"

"Excellent hosts! Had a great stay and place was as described. Wonderful spot if you are looking to disconnect or take in a show at Tanglewood. Would definitely book again. A few fans in closet and more coffee cups is bout the only thing I could think of to improve. Thank you!!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay here! The house was small and cozy, plenty of room for our family of five to live comfortably for the week. The hot tub was a huge hit with our two girls, and all three kids loved running around the large, private, back yard. There isn't a ton of things directly in the area, but Nicole provided us with recommendations for food and local spots to check out. There was a small private beach area down the road that we loved going to each day, and since no one was ever really there, we had the place to ourselves! Overall, we had a blast and will be back!"

"We had such a wonderful stay at Nicole & Aaron's home. The house is exactly as described and we felt very comfortable and cozy there. We loved using the hot tub after a long day of venturing out! The location cannot be better, so much to do near by and the Sherwood Shoppe is a must for a great meal no matter the time of day. We look forward to staying again at the cottage in the woods!"

Nicole was extremely easy to communicate with from the start, and left us with little to no questions because she covered and all the necessary information in her messages & through the website! "This cottage was exactly what I was looking for! A cute retreat in the woods with a relaxing hot tub. Nicole was very hospitable and quick to respond when I had questions or sought out suggestions. We felt very much at home in this cozy space with well-appointed details in the decor. And the small touches really made a difference to make us feel welcome -- there were snacks (chips, cookies) and k-cups and toys (and poop bags) for our dog! Hospitality at its best! We loved it here and can't wait to come back!"

"Very peaceful and private cottage! Hot tub was fantastic to relax in after a day of white water rafting about an hour away on the Deerfield River. Plenty of space in the cottage, clean and cozy. Nicole was so helpful, friendly and responsive!"
